The Role:The purpose of the role is the provision of an Occupational Therapy service using service user centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in line with Ability West’s ethos, vision, policies and to interact as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team.
Responsibility for planning, assessment, implementation and review of Occupational Therapy programmes for individual service users according to service standards.
To collaborate with individual service users, family, carers and other staff in Occupational Therapy planning and in the provision of support and advice.
Clinical Supervision responsibility for a Basic Grade Occupational Therapist.
Essential Criteria:
Candidates must hold a recognised degree or equivalent
Registration with CORU required in line with the national timeframe
3 years post qualification experience in an area of specialisation or related areas
Demonstrable experience of Sensory Integration
Full current driving license with access to your own vehicle.
