- Project management and supervision of (simultaneous) electrical projects to specific budget and time constraints.
- Ensure the Construction Team is adhering to all Contractual and safety requirements and providing advice and monitoring of same.
- Manage Project Costings and assist with project finance reporting.
- Review Sub-contractors costs and claims.
- Daily and weekly progress reports on works completed.
- Chair and attend regular meetings internally and with the Client.
- Identify issues and risks at the earliest opportunity and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.
- Scheduling and programming of workload, equipment and resources. While Microsoft Project skills are not specifically required they would be an advantage.
- Liaise with the SHEQ Manager (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) on all project SHEQ matters.
- Support Business Development, through tendering and business networking.
- Ensure our core Customer Care principles are adhered to.
- Experience working on multi discipline projects.
- A Degree in electrical engineering or management, whilst not essential would be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum 5 years previous experience with MV/HV is preferred, ideally with hands-on (tools) sub-station experience, and subsequent management experience.
- Strong technical (MV/HV) experience particularly in 33KV Stations and above.
- Excellent Commercial knowledge and understanding.
- Must have excellent English both spoken and Written and be a good communicator.
- Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office packages, including diagnostic skills.
- Clear and appropriate goal setting, focused on targets; demonstrating enthusiasm and drive to consistently deliver quality in performance.
