About Your New Job
  • Design and Develop: Create custom manufacturing equipment and tooling for the medical device sector.
  • Collaborate: Work with controls and process engineers to develop robust, automated mechanical systems.
  • Engineering Drawings: Develop BOMs and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks to support project quotations and implementation.
  • Support and Improve: Assist in process improvement projects, support system build and debug stages, and ensure timelines and standards are met.
  • Present and Procure: Present 3D models and design concepts to internal teams and occasionally to customers, and work with suppliers to procure custom components.
  • Innovate: Stay ahead of the curve by researching new technologies and proposing improvements in plant-wide automation.
What Skills You Need
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (L7 or L8).
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid proficiency in SolidWorks and a strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals.
  • Soft Skills: A collaborative mindset, great communication skills, and the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with medical device manufacturing or validation protocols, project management, BOMs, and quality standards in an engineering context.
