Weekly Hours: 39 hrs At Jit Removals, the Logistics Specialist plays a key role in analysing, optimising, and supporting all logistics and operational activities. This role focuses on evaluating workflow efficiency, coordinating field teams, ensuring operational readiness, and supporting data-driven decision making to improve service quality, reduce costs, and maximize productivity. Key Responsibilities • Analyse daily job requirements and plan the allocation of teams, vehicles, and resources to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. • Monitor job progress throughout the day, identifying delays or inefficiencies and proposing corrective actions. • Prepare analytical reports identifying efficiency gains and cost-saving opportunities to report to your manager as well as ontribute to the development of standard operating procedures based on analytical findings • Conduct time assessments and workload analysis to establish standard operational times for various moving and specialised delivery tasks. • Support the planning and logistical preparation for specialised deliveries involving high value, sensitive, or technical equipment (e.g., data center components, processors, electronic assets). • Ensure that appropriate handling methods, safety procedures, and transportation requirements are followed. • Liaise with clients to confirm technical delivery specifications and ensure compliance with service standards. • Support warehouse organisation and material flow, ensuring equipment is stored, controlled, and made available efficiently for field teams. • Collaborate with suppliers and service vendors to evaluate performance and optimise procurement-related logistics. • Maintain accurate documentation of job schedules, delivery procedures, operational policies, and improvement initiatives. • Support quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, internal procedures, and customer requirements. • Participate in audits and assist with updating procedures when necessary providing analytical insights to management to support operational planning decisions. Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret operational and logistics data. • Excellent organisational and time management capabilities. • Ability in Excel and other operational planning tools. • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate teams and interact with clients. • Detail oriented and process driven, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Experience supporting field operations or managing technical/sensitive equipment handling. • Background in workflow analysis, process optimisation, or operations planning is highly desirable.
