Health and Safety OfficerOur client, a specialist contractor with a number of sites in the Greater Dublin area, is looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join them. You will be responsible for the implementation of the company's safety management system, contribute to successful project delivery, and report directly to the Health and Safety Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs.Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the project and workforce.Liaise with management, contractors, and external bodies to maintain high standards of safety performance.Requirements:Third-level qualification in Health and Safety or a related discipline (e.g., Level 7 or higher).Full, clean driving licence.Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.Previous experience in a similar Health and Safety role within the construction industry in Ireland.
