You will manage setting out and surveying activities, coordinate with subcontractors and site teams, and ensure all works meet project and health & safety requirements. The role also involves problem-solving, liaising with clients/design teams, and supporting the delivery of snag-free projects.Key Responsibilities:Day-to-day supervision of site activities and subcontractorsCarry out setting out and surveying using robotic total station and dumpy levelEnsure works are completed to specification, drawings, and inspection plansMaintain RFI and submittals registers on siteCoordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate information flowPrepare and review method statements and risk assessmentsAssist with daily site briefings and enforce high health & safety standardsResolve technical issues and unexpected challenges on siteManage requisitions for materials, plant, and equipmentMonitor progress against programme and escalate delays as neededEnsure accurate plant, labour, and materials records are sent to Head Office weeklyRequirements:Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering (Civil/Construction preferred)Proven experience in setting out and/or working as a Site EngineerExperience with a main contractor, subcontractor, or surveying firm (preferred)Full driver’s licenceStrong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulationsExcellent communication skills and IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint)What’s on Offer:Competitive salaryCompany vehicleLaptop and phone providedOpportunities for progressionFlexible working between Sligo and Maynooth when not site-basedProfessional development and mentoring towards recognised qualificationsContinuous Professional Development (CPD) trainingLife insuranceLifestyle benefits (Bike to Work Scheme, gym membership)Employee Assistance ProgrammeLoyalty reward scheme (extra leave for long service)Referral reward schemeSocial club
