Financial Analyst required for a 9 month contract with a leading pharmaceutical company based in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading team and is offering an excellent salary.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare elements IOPS sections of collaboration annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts for Example:, outside expenses, headcount and FTEs
• Work with Engineering and Accounting departments on forecasting and tracking capital expenditures: explaining progress/variances and forecasting cash outflows
• Work with various departments on forecasting and tracking operating expenses and headcount
• Provide support for explaining variances between actual and budgeted results
• Provide reports and help monitor with IOPS department heads to ensure that groups are providing relevant assumptions and staying within budget
• Lead special financial analyses as assigned
• Develop, build and implement new models to automate analyses and reports
• Seek ways to continually improve existing models, reports, etc

Education and Experience:

• Requires a minimum of a Business degree with 3+ years of relevant analytical experience
• Accounting qualification would be desirable
• Experience in a manufacturing and/or science environment is a plus
• Requires experience with Hyperion, Oracle or similar financial systems
• Extensive knowledge in spreadsheet (MS Excel) and financial modelling
