- Regularly reviewing and updating company risk assessments, method statements and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Conduct regular audits, safety inspections, and site checks.
- Lead and promote a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement in relation to all health and safety work practices.
- Ensure full implementation of the Company's Accident Reporting Procedure and ensure the necessary corrective and preventative measure(s) are implemented.
- Ensure the implications of changes in legislation and safety management techniques are communicated and implemented throughout the Company.
- Liaise with enforcement authorities if they attend a site on routine visits or to investigate following an incident.
- Build and maintain effective key relationships with other departments and 3rd parties.
- Project work as and when needed.
- Delivery of basic Health & Safety Training, including Manual Handling and Chemical Handling.
- Health & Safety qualification ideally in a similar environment.
- 2+ years' experience in a related role.
- Full driving licence
- Manual Handling Instructor Qualification.
