Hartley People Recruitment are seeking a Health & Safety Assistant for our client based in Limerick.Key Responsibilities:

Regularly reviewing and updating company risk assessments, method statements and SOP’s.
Conduct regular audits, safety inspections, risk assessments and site checks.
Lead and promote a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement in relation to all health and safety work practices.
Ensure the implications of changes in legislation and safety management techniques are communicated and implemented throughout the Company.
Build and maintain effective key relationships with other departments and 3rd parties.
Delivery of basic Health & Safety Training, including Manual Handling and Chemical Handling.

Key Requirements:

Health & Safety qualification.
2+ years’ experience in a related role.
Full driving licence
Manual Handling Instructor Qualification
Advanced knowledge of OHSAS 18001
Knowledge of ADR, REACH, SCIP, SVHC
