We are presently recruiting for a part / newly qualified Accountant for our clients in Killarney, County Kerry. Working fully in office, you will report directly to the CFO of the business and Prepare daily reconciliations, process invoices and payments, update financial records, assist with month-end tasks, analyse variances, monitor cashflow and support compliance reporting. This is a permanent position, based in office in Killarney.Key Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly management accounts, supporting schedules, and consolidated group accounts
Deliver monthly reporting packs, perform variance analysis, and support the month-end close process
Oversee daily finance operations including bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and payment runs
Maintain accurate financial records and strong internal controls
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow monitoring with insightful analysis
Assist in monitoring loan portfolios, identifying risks and trends, and ensuring appropriate controls
Support VAT returns, tax compliance, and liaise with external auditors during annual audits
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Central Bank reporting
Identify process improvements, support system enhancements, and contribute to automation initiatives
Collaborate with the CFO and wider team to provide financial insights and support decision-making
Engage professionally with stakeholders, customers, and funders, ensuring timely responses

Requirements:

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or part-qualified
1-4 years' relevant finance experience
Strong financial reporting, analytical, and organisational skills.
