Morgan McKinley is excited to partner with a Killarney-based firm to recruit a Financial Accountant (Newly Qualified or Part-Qualified). Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the finance department.Key Responsibilities:Supporting the production of monthly management accounts and detailed schedules.Contributing to the preparation of consolidated group financial statements.Generating monthly reporting packs while meeting all internal deadlines.Conducting variance analysis and investigating significant financial fluctuations.Leading the month-end closing process to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.Requirements:Certification: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or part-qualified with substantial experience).Experience: 1-4 years in finance, preferably within the financial services or banking sectors.Technical Skills: Proven track record in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end cycles.Compliance: A solid grasp of financial controls and regulatory requirements.Communication: Comfortable managing stakeholder relationships and resolving client queries.
