We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our clients, a growing accountancy business in County Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to work with leading national retail brands while leading a team of accountants and trainees in a dynamic and expanding environment. The company in question is conveniently located between Cork City and Killarney This is a full - time position with a hybrid working week offered.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review management accounts, focusing on gross margin variances and implementing action plans for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Evaluate and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Oversee working capital management, ensuring optimal cash flow and financial planning.
Provide full financial control services to a portfolio of retail sector clients, including supermarkets and convenience stores.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and trainees, fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Requirements:

Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
3+ years' experience, ideally in practice.
Strong financial analysis, problem-solving, and client communication skills.
Proficiency in accounts preparation, financial reporting, and IT systems.
Ability to train, manage, and develop staff effectively.
Retail sector experience (preferred but not essential).

Salary is open to negotiation based on experience with additional package and in the region of €55,000 – €65,000.For further information, please email me directly at
