- Evaluating cognitive, emotional, and behavioral issues using interviews, psychometric tests, and observation
- Developing tailored care plans to support recovery, coping strategies, and personal development
- Responding to urgent mental health needs, including suicidal ideation, trauma, or acute distress.
- Working alongside psychiatrists, social workers, occupational therapists, and GPs to provide holistic care.
- Especially in child and adolescent services, psychologists support parents, teachers, and caregivers.
- Promoting access to appropriate services and accommodations, particularly for individuals with disabilities or mental health conditions.
- Documenting assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in line with ethical and legal standards
- Engaging in ongoing training and supervision to stay current with best practices and research.
- Doctorate in Psychology
- Registered with Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)
- Must be a resident in Ireland and have the legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
- Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
- International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
