CAD Technician – Silent Aire (Johnson Controls)Location: Park West, Dublin 12Silent Aire, a Johnson Controls company, is a global leader in designing, engineering, and manufacturing hyperscale cooling and modular data centre solutions. With 13 manufacturing facilities and over 3,000 employees worldwide, we deliver innovative solutions trusted by leading hyperscale cloud providers and data centre operators.As a CAD Technician, you will play a key role in transforming engineering concepts into precise technical drawings and 3D models. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of experienced engineers, you will ensure designs meet industry standards and project requirements.Key Responsibilities:

Develop high-quality, detailed 3D models and technical drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD. Update and modify existing drawings as needed.
Ensure compliance with Silent Aire standards and internal protocols.
Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and apply engineering principles to cost calculations.
Maintain thorough documentation and records for all design work.

What We Look For:

Proficiency in Inventor and AutoCAD (or similar CAD software).
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of HVAC and data centre systems is an advantage.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Qualifications: Level 7 qualification in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent CAD certification.Previous experience as a CAD Technician or similar role.
