Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop production teams, including Shift Managers, to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) objectives
  • Drive a strong Health & Safety culture across the facility
  • Ensure all products meet applicable Quality and Regulatory requirements
  • Optimize resource planning to ensure efficient production flow and adherence to schedules
  • Monitor and manage work-in-progress (WIP) inventory levels
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental standards within the production area
  • Act as a key stakeholder in internal and external audits
  • Coach and mentor team members to support growth and accountability
  • Partner with Continuous Improvement teams to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
  • Lead business operating reviews focused on productivity and equipment effectiveness
  • Contribute to cross-functional project planning and implementation
  • Perform other duties as required by leadership
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Third-level qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Science
  • 5+ years of experience in a production management or supervisory role within manufacturing
  • Experience in a regulated, high-volume manufacturing environment (medical device/pharma preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of production operations and lean methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Budgetary awareness and experience managing cost controls
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong PC and digital proficiency
