Type: Full-Time, ContractA leading engineering consultancy in North Dublin is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This is a rare opportunity offering security through to January 2029, coupled with hybrid working flexibility and a highly competitive day rate.Working on a major, high-profile project, the successful candidate will play a key role in the design and delivery of complex electrical building services systems, with full integration into a collaborative and technically strong project team.Key Responsibilities:Electrical design and specification for building services systems (LV power, lighting, life safety, ICT, etc.)Coordination with internal multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractorsProduction and review of detailed electrical design drawings and documentationCompliance with Irish building and electrical regulationsSupport throughout design, construction, and commissioning phasesIdeal Candidate:Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services EngineeringMinimum 5 years' experience in electrical building services designStrong technical background and familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux, etc.Experience working in consultancy or design-led project environmentsSelf-motivated, collaborative, and able to work independently in a hybrid settingOffer Highlights:Contract running until January 2029Hybrid work model (office located in North Dublin)Very competitive day rateInvolvement in a major long-term projectSupportive team environment and strong project pipelineIf you are interested please apply or get in touch at
