- Ensure all quality inspections at intake, during storage, and at dispatch are completed correctly and in accordance with SOPs.
- Maintain full traceability of stock from intake to dispatch.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of site hygiene & housekeeping.
- Complete all onsite records, including cleaning logs, maintenance checks, customer temperature verification, and quality reports to customers.
- Monitor product temperatures throughout storage and dispatch processes.
- Assist in the investigation and documentation of non-conformances.
- Carry out hygiene/GMP audits and ensure HACCP and BRCGS principles are continuously met for product safety and process control.
- Provide staff with guidance regarding product quality, legality and hygiene.
- Assisting the Operations Manager in resolving any quality issues or other tasks as required.
- Assist with internal audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations.
- Support staff training in Food Safety and SOP adherence.
- Degree in Food Science or a related field is desirable but not essential.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in Quality Control or Production
