This position offers a direct succession path to CTO, as the current technical founder plans to step away from hands-on responsibilities.The company has developed a successful eCommerce SaaS platform used by well-known Irish retailers. The product is scalable, multi-tenant, and serves high volumes of traffic. With growth on the horizon and AI-led product innovation in the pipeline, the business is looking for a strong technical leader to drive this next phase.Responsibilities:Take full ownership of the product's technical direction and architectureLead and mentor a small, expert development teamDrive code quality, performance, and maintainability across the platformWork closely with product and business stakeholders to align tech strategy with growth plansOversee deployment, scalability, and integration efforts with ERP/ePOS systemsContribute directly to ongoing feature development in a hands-on capacityGuide the technical transition into AI-enhanced product featuresRequirements:Minimum 5 years' experience with C#.NET and MS SQL Server in web-based applicationsStrong understanding of scalable software architecture and system designExperience working in a senior, lead, or managerial developer roleHands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platformsAbility to work onsite in Co.
