The successful Electrical Engineer will be a part of a busy team providing design and technical services on various project types, including but not limited to Office Block, Healthcare, Education, Historic, Leisure and Residential developments.Responsibilities:
- Design of sustainable, energy efficient and resilient Electrical Services and Installations.
- Express creative ideas through sketching.
- Communicate effectively to build firm working relationships with architects, engineers, clients and contractors.
- Attend stakeholder & site meetings when required.
- Liaising with architects, clients and other stakeholders to set the constraints of the mechanical design and co-ordinate with all other disciplines in terms of the mechanical requirements and the mechanical discipline’s influence on all others.
- Degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 - 6 years post-qualification experience, most of which will be in design gained within a consultancy environment.
- Chartered or Progressing to achieve chartership.
- Possess excellent communication skills and capable of transmitting your passion for building services engineering to clients, other professions and the team
- Have a broad experience of the industry, detailed knowledge of the design of building services systems and a keen interest in passive design techniques, sustainable environmental solutions and renewable energy technologies
- Capable of offering informed and intelligent comment on issues related to the creation of sustainable buildings
- Knowledgeable and experienced in using front end design tools such as IES, and are fully CAD and IT literate
- Capable of designing within a Revit environment and a desire to develop these skills
- Successfully designed projects across a range of scales and sectors
- €45,000 to €60,000 – Dependent on Experience
