Job Description:Job Title: Support Services ManagerReports to: Managing Director, AvocaRole SummaryThe Support Services Manager oversees all support service functions across the Avoca estate—including maintenance, facilities, property, and logistics. This role ensures that physical assets are maintained, facilities are safe and compliant, and inventory and distribution systems are efficient and aligned with Avoca’s growth agenda.Key Responsibilities1. Maintenance Management
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs
  • Supervise internal maintenance teams and external contractors
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Act as first point of contact for Health & Safety issues
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs and optimize equipment uptime
  • Manage maintenance budgets and procurement
2. Facilities & Property Management
  • Oversee upkeep, renovation, and security of all properties
  • Manage IT infrastructure related to store operations
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Handle leases, property documentation, and vendor contracts
  • Coordinate space planning and new store openings
  • Implement energy efficiency initiatives
  • Manage facilities/property budgets and procurement
3. Logistics, Stock & Distribution Management
  • Oversee inventory control, storage, and distribution
  • Optimize warehouse layout and logistics
  • Maintain warehouse management systems
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
  • Monitor stock levels, conduct audits, and manage replenishment
  • Train and develop logistics, stock, and distribution teams
  • Manage budgets and achieve KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards

Qualifications
  • Related third-level qualification
  • 5+ years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary support role, ideally in retail/manufacturing
