- Lead and coordinate daily laboratory operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with ISO17025 standards.
- Apply your technical expertise to support sample testing, data recording, and reporting.
- Develop and refine protocols for water testing, aligning with industry best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement through innovative process enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning optimally.
- Supervise and mentor a skilled team, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Participate in audits and safety walkthroughs, contributing to a culture of compliance and excellence.
- Collaborate across departments to share insights and support broader initiatives.
- Play a key role in preparing for and participating in external audits.
- Take ownership of inventory management and laboratory housekeeping.
- Engage in ongoing development of SOPs and laboratory functions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver within deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Experience in leading and developing teams.

- Fluency in English and a professional attitude.
- Initiative and specialised knowledge in environmental science or chemistry.
- A degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in an environmental laboratory, with a focus on water analysis.
- Solid understanding of inorganic chemistry and ISO 17025 standards.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive.
