Rice Transport & Commercial Repairs Limited is seeking 3 Panel Beater/Vehicle Body Repairer who will be responsible for carrying out skilled vehicle body repairs to manufacturer specifications, including removing, repairing, and replacing damaged panels, ensuring a high-quality finish in compliance with irish motor industry and health & safety standards. Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidate will: 1. Assess vehicle damage and determine repair requirements using measuring systems and manufacturer repair manuals. 2. Remove and replace damaged panels and structural components using hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic equipment. 3. Straighten and align chassis and body frames using specialist jigs and pulling systems. 4. Repair dents, corrosion, and other panel damage using filler, sanding, and finishing techniques. 5. Weld, cut, and fabricate replacement sections in line with safety regulations. 6. Prepare repaired surfaces for painting, ensuring correct use of primers, sealants, and protective coatings. 7. Refit and align body components such as doors, bonnets, and bumpers to exact tolerances. 8. Comply with workplace safety regulations and use PPE as required. 9. Work collaboratively with spray painters, mechanics, and estimators to complete jobs efficiently. 10. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Essential Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 2 years' working experience as a Panel Beater / Vehicle Body Repair. Proven ability to use welding, pulling, measuring, and hydraulic repair equipment. Knowledge of vehicle construction, materials, and modern repair methods. Ability to interpret technical drawings and repair manuals. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Good communication and teamwork skills. Salary & Employment Conditions Annual Salary: €34,000.00 Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week. Location: Clashduff, Coalbrook, Thurles, Co.
