Duties to include: Preparing and cooking meals for Children following the Creche menu. Following HACCP guidelines - Full HACCP training will be offered. Record keeping ( fridge temps etc). Liaising with Creche Room Supervisors to confirm numbers of children to be catered for and special dietary requirements etc. Stock Control - Compiling shopping lists for groceries and cleaning supplies. Checking expiry dates and rotating stock. Replenishing stock supply (hand towels, soap etc). Disposing of unsafe stock ( out of date, exposed etc.) Hygiene. Washing and drying laundry. Following cleaning schedule for kitchen and staff area. Reporting Hazards. Garda Vetting required. Be willing to participate in mandatory and QQI training to further career goal.
