Morgan McKinley seeking a detail-oriented and commercially-minded Buyer/Planner to join a dynamic FMCG team in Dublin. This is a permanent opportunity to play a key role in the end-to-end supply chain planning and procurement process, supporting operations aligned to the North American market.As a Buyer/Planner, you will be responsible for purchasing, inventory planning, and vendor management, ensuring optimal product availability while minimizing costs and waste. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, sales, logistics, and finance teams across global time zones.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Plan and execute procurement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to support North American operations
Monitor stock levels and forecast demand based on sales trends, seasonality, and promotional activity
Issue and manage purchase orders with local and international suppliers
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any delivery or quality issues
Optimize inventory turnover and reduce excess/obsolete stock
Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods
Analyse data to track KPIs such as fill rate, supplier performance, and forecast accuracy
Support new product launches by ensuring materials are sourced and delivered on time
Collaborate with the US-based team to align supply with demand and market needs
Maintain ERP system data accuracy, including lead times, order quantities, and supplier details

Key requirements:

3+ years of experience in a Buyer, Planner, or Supply Chain role within the FMCG or related sector
Willingness to work US business hours (e.g., 12pm - 8pm IST)
Strong knowledge of demand planning, procurement, and supply chain operations
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and MS Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred)
