Contact:About the RoleWe're hiring a Senior Test Engineer to join a dynamic Solution Delivery team based in Cork. This is a key role in ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality software and systems across the organisation. You'll be driving automation initiatives, working on both new and existing functionality, and collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and end users.Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to all stages of the testing lifecycle including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases across web, desktop, and API environments.
- Ensure existing functionality remains intact while implementing new features.
- Lead testing efforts across functional, performance, and security domains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system defects.
- Drive improvements in test automation processes and frameworks.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
- Provide post-implementation support and UAT coordination.
- 6+ years' experience in test automation with tools like Cypress, Jest, Selenium, Playwright, or Silk4J.
- Coding skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python is a big plus.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Allure, Xray).
- Solid knowledge of functional, API, security, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL (Oracle a plus).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bonus: exposure to accessibility tools (Lighthouse) and security testing tools.
