- Manage BAU system operations, application-specific ITSM processes, security and compliance requests, change requests, and user on/off boarding.
- Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable IT requirements.
- Drive the design and validation of IT solutions in collaboration with architecture, development, and business teams.
- Test and ensure the quality of the developed IT solutions.
- Define and oversee test strategies, support UAT, and ensure delivery of high-quality, user-centric solutions.
- Guide data and reporting initiatives, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and business value.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, process modelling, and solution design for complex IT systems.
- Proficiency with BA tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Visio, Miro, Figma) and agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of data structures, reporting, and analytics relevant to underwriting and claims.
- Experience with the IT development platforms such as .Net, Azure Clouds, Appian, etc.
- Exposure to AI/ML applications in underwriting or claims automation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
- Proactive problem-solving, resilience in the face of challenges, and an optimistic, action-oriented mindset
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in insurance or reinsurance ideally with a focus on Life & Health underwriting and/or claims.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
- Scrum Master and ITSM related certification are desired.
