Are you ready to take on the role of Associate Director, Renewable Energy in a rapidly expanding renewable energy team? This senior position offers the opportunity to play a key technical role in projects focused on the generation, storage, transmission, and distribution of energy. You will be instrumental in leading project delivery and fostering client relationships across the UK, Ireland, and countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).Qualifications:

BEng (Hons) degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Environmental).
Chartered status or actively working towards chartership.
Extensive experience in the energy sector, with a strong focus on renewable energy systems.
Proven track record in leading projects in one or more of the following areas:

Hydroelectric design (run-of-river and pumped storage)
Onshore wind (including recent on-site experience with turbines

180m tip height) * Offshore wind

Solar PV
Green hydrogen

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and delivery of renewable energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project work.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in the design and implementation of renewable energy infrastructure.
Oversee the generation and review of technical and contractual documentation from internal and external sources.
Address technical queries raised by the site team, providing expert guidance as needed.
Act as lead verifier on technical feasibility studies and design reports, depending on your core engineering discipline.
Mentor and direct junior staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
