- Design and build enterprise-wide software solutions with high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership across teams, setting engineering direction and championing best practices in software architecture and development.
- Architect and implement solutions on AWS, with deep expertise in serverless technologies like AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS and more.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to align technical design with business goals.
- Mentor and guide other engineers, helping elevate engineering excellence and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Solve complex, high-impact problems with a solutions-driven and analytical mindset.
- Contribute to strategic planning and architectural decisions with an enterprise focus.
- 12+ years of software development or architecture experience, with at least 4 years in a senior or staff/lead architect role.
- Deep experience architecting and building enterprise-wide cloud-native solutions. Demonstrated ability to design robust, performant solutions for mission-critical workloads, leveraging modern cloud-native patterns. Adept at driving initiatives from concept to delivery in environments that demand reliability and scalability.
- Major expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly:
- AWS Lambda
- API Gateway
- DynamoDB
- EKS or ECS
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.
- Excellent understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and SDLC methodologies.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability in cloud ecosystems.
- Understanding of data governance, security architecture, and compliance in cloud environments.
- Prior experience working with healthcare standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) in a regulated environment (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
