- Deliver exceptional service by ensuring every guest interaction is personalised and memorable.
- Handle guest concerns and special requests with professionalism and discretion.
- Monitor guest feedback across platforms and dining review channels and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
- Oversee all front of house operations including reservations, seating, and dining flow.
- Ensure compliance with professional service standards, cleanliness, and food presentation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team for seamless service coordination.
- Recruit, train, and develop restaurant service staff including hosts, servers, and supervisors.
- Foster a culture of attentiveness, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct daily briefings and lead regular training sessions on service etiquette, menu knowledge, and upselling techniques.
- Manage labour costs, scheduling, and payroll in line with budgetary targets.
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control of front of house supplies.
- Contribute to financial forecasting, revenue tracking, and performance analysis.
- Stay informed on menu offerings, wine pairings, and seasonal specials in collaboration with Director of Food and Beverage and wider F&B team.
- Lead implementation of new menu items and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations, liquor licensing laws, and hotel SOPs.
- Maintain accurate records for inspections, audits, and operational checklists.
- 3-5 years’ experience in restaurant management, ideally in a luxury or fine dining environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and POS systems.
- Wine and spirits knowledge; sommelier or mixology certification a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
