Senior Speech and Language Therapist for Acute Care in Naas General Hospital, Co. KildareInitial 6 month duration with likely extension to 1 yearFlexible hours will be consideredThe Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) department in Naas General Hospital provides an evidence based and high quality service to adults across all acute services including, Stroke, Age-related care, Critical care, Respiratory, General Medicine and Surgery.The successful candidate will work in the established SLT team and will assess, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing difficulties of adults across the inpatient acute medical wards. There is consistent provision of Videofluoroscopy and FEES. There is a strong emphasis on supervision and mentorship in the department.Interested candidates will have:

A recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy with CORU registration
A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience, including work in an acute setting
Dysphagia qualification and experience
Videofluoroscopy, tracheostomy and/or FEES experience would be desirable, however, not essential
