
Sites Manager / Electrical Person Issuing Works (PIW Stations)

- The PIW is the person responsible for assigning work on ESBN Systems to Approved persons.
- Work Packs - preparation and issuing. Premobilisation etc.
- Program - Planning of works/ sequencing/ outage requirements.
- Telemessing - Liaising with the Stations PICW's (site supervisors) to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Comply with all SHEQ policies and procedures as required.
- Work closely with the site management on such duties as maintaining records and files.
- Display a knowledge of the works being undertaken.
- Manage Additional works - fault, scope creep etc.
- Manage site Quality and Environmental issues.
- Have an ability to manage multiple crews in electrical and a civil capacity.
- Ensure the cost effective and on time delivery of all crews.
- Ensure that sites are adequately resourced with materials, equipment and manpower.
- Ensure that the safety file is properly maintained to include quality documentation, sign in sheets etc.
- Ensure that the highest standard of safety is maintained on all sites.
- Ensure that all site CVI'S(variations) are captured and recorded during the works.
- Ensure that regular quality and H&S audits are carried out on site.
- Qualified electrician
- Supervisory experience essential of 33Kv or higher live substations
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organisational skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, CPE or equivalent)
