- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the Canteen’s recipes, portioning and serving standards
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition
- Control food cost and usage
- Ensure accurate stocktaking each week
- Submit staff timesheets
- Report any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures
- Oversee the training of personnel in safe operation of all equipment and utensils
- Ensure compliance with HACCP regulations
- Maintains professional appearance at all times
- At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen staff and School staff & Students
- Be a team player, have time management and organizational skills
- Be motivated, enthusiastic and reliable
- Computer literacy
