- Provide scheduled and unannounced practice supervision visits across a variety of care settings
- Supervise and support care assistants to ensure high standards of care delivery
- Monitor, assess, and provide feedback on care assistant performance and practice
- Maintain accurate supervision records, reports, and documentation
- Escalate any performance, behavioural, quality, or operational concerns to the CNM promptly
- Participate in care delivery as part of the supervision process and, in exceptional circumstances, provide direct care when required
- Support CNM with care plan assessments and care plan reviews
- Monitor staff training, compliance, and continued professional development (CPD)
- Ensure all policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements, GDPR, and health & safety standards are adhered to
- Liaise professionally with customers, family members, care coordinators, healthcare professionals, and statutory services
- Act as a customer advocate and safeguard the interests of customers at all times
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance across customer and staff files
- Prepare reports as required
- Participate in the on-call Bluebird Care emergency phone rota
- Act as backup to the Care Coordinator, with familiarity in staff rostering
- Assist with office administration duties as required
- Support the recruitment process, including onboarding and compliance checks
