Salary: Negotiable depending on experienceAt Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Accounts Administrator to join our client's growing team based in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Your new role includes:
  • Prepare and issue accurate and timely customer invoices & credit notes, process payment receipts, carryout reconciliations & issue monthly statements.
  • Ensure collection targets are met while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Review and approve new credit applications, set up new accounts, manage credit limits, credit insurance, and monitor high-risk accounts.
  • Provide regular reporting on debtors, payments, aged balances, and bad debt provisions.
  • Prepare bank lodgements to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist in audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Experience you need:
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar customer facing role, ideally in a construction or engineering company.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive customer relationships.
  • Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
