This exciting opportunity is focused on developing new business and managing existing client relationships within the industrial consumables sector. The role sits within the client’s consumables division, covering product ranges such as PPE, cleanroom supplies, workwear, spill safety, packaging, hygiene and janitorial products, and disposable clothing, distinct from their MRO operations.The successful candidate will be given target accounts to manage but will also have full autonomy to pursue business development opportunities across any industry, with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical sector, but not exclusive to.Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business growth in the consumables space by identifying and securing opportunities with new clients across a wide range of industries.
  • Manage and expand existing customer accounts, ensuring excellent service and tailored solutions.
  • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with company sales strategy and targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience from order to delivery.
  • Monitor market activity and customer needs to inform product positioning and sales approaches.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on sales activity, pipeline development, and market feedback.
About You:
  • Proven sales or business development experience, ideally in industrial consumables, safety equipment, or a related sector.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to different customer environments.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Full clean driving licence required.
