- Strategy Development: Translate the UK business strategy into campaign plans, including selecting appropriate channels and tactics to achieve business and campaign goals.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns through various marketing channels, including email, on-site merchandising, direct mail, paid display and social to grow revenue or reduce churn in the UK, primarily; secondarily, support execution and best practices for Canada demand generation campaigns.
- Campaign Optimization: Continuously improve emails, ads and landing pages utilizing marketing automation tools and data analytics to optimize campaign performance.
- Testing and Measurement: Analyze marketing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, including A/B testing, report building and analysis, and communicate the results and data-driven decisions to key stakeholders
- Segmentation and Targeting: Utilize audience segmentation and targeting strategies to reach the right audience with personalized messaging based on demographic, performance and behavior data.
- Event support: Help with the coordination and in-day execution of sales events, in partnership with the CarGurus events team.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, such as Sales, Product Marketing, and Business Operations to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Budget Management: Manage the budget allocated for demand generation and retention programs and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to inform demand generation and customer retention strategies.
- Experience: 2+ years experience in B2B marketing, preferably at a small/medium tech company, auto industry experience a plus.
- Marketing Knowledge: A strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, with the ability to align campaign strategy with overall business objectives.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically and develop effective demand generation plans that align with business objectives and drive results.
- Initiative and Drive: Ability to proactively come up with creative campaign ideas that resonate with the target audience, seeking continuous performance improvement.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal presentation and written communications skills to be able to convey results, insights and recommendations to key partners and leadership.
- Data Analytics: Proficiency/aptitude in using data analytics tools (Looker, Salesforce, Google Analytics) and marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred) to analyze performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with marketing technology tools, such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools. Marketo and Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Copywriting: Ability to write and edit compelling marketing campaign copy, including subject lines, body text, and calls to action (CTAs).
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to execute and manage marketing campaigns effectively, balancing multiple tasks, deadlines and projects simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in tracking campaign data and ensuring all elements of a campaign are executed correctly.
- Ability to execute with limited direction and oversight and can proactively identify and raise concerns or solutions with the team.
- Ideal candidate is preferably located in Dublin and can participate in a hybrid office environment while building relationships with the Sales team, but we are open to someone based in the UK if they are willing to travel to Dublin frequently!
