- Oversee the daily operations of two nursing home facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Ensure compliance with all Health Service Executive (HSE) regulations, HIQA standards, and other relevant legislative requirements.
- Manage and support nursing home management teams and staff to deliver high-quality resident care.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures.
- Lead recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Foster a positive, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
- Address and resolve operational challenges promptly.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies as needed.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, quality, and compliance to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Proven experience in operations management within healthcare or elder care settings.
- Knowledge of nursing home regulations, standards, and best practices (HIQA, HSE).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Financial management experience, including budgeting and cost control.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field are preferred.
- Flexibility to travel between the two nursing home locations as required.
- Salary: €105,000 per annum
