Our cherished heritage is our connection to the local community, our focus is sharing it.About the roleRole/Responsibilities:· Oversee the operations of the hotel· Manage staff performance, carry out performance and probation reviews· Manage systems in line with forecasting on a day to day basis and in advance· Identify talent within the team for progression· Motivate and influence the team in a professional manner· Develop and maintain a relationship between other Departments within the Hotel to ensure operational excellence and smooth running· Develop and maintain a professional relationship between other Head of Departments· Manage and lead the health and safety of the Department· Delegate tasks and responsibilities to Waitstaff and Supervisors· Manage the communication from management to staff in the Department· Attend Management meetings when required· Manage and control staffing budgets· Manage and control costs and stock· To carry out Duty manager shifts· Additional ad hoc dutiesRequirementsFood and Beverage experience in a similar environment

Demonstrate excellent people management skills with experience of managing large teams of staff

Have a passion for food and service and the ability to innovate in this area

Have strong organizational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility

Be commercially focused

Have problem solving skills and be confident and assertive
