Field Service TechnicianLocation: PortlaoiseWe are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join a dynamic team in Portlaoise. This role involves maintaining and improving manufacturing processes, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring optimal equipment performance.Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs on production machinery.
Conduct skilled maintenance across mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to support troubleshooting and installations.
Support daily operations involving conveyors, depositors, pick-and-place machines, and weighing equipment.
Monitor production processes, run diagnostics, and report on problem resolutions.
Implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and minimise downtime.
Provide technical feedback on equipment performance related to yield output.
Certify and train manufacturing staff on production processes.
Install and validate equipment to improve cycle times and production throughput.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Level 6 qualification in a technical-related discipline.
Strong technical and fault-finding skills.
Experience with surface mount technology is an advantage.
Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical disciplines is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Work Order systems.
