General Manager required to manage a busy Restaurant in Cork City, We require an experienced General Manager lead all aspects of restaurant operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing and developing the team, driving financial performance, and maintaining the high standards and reputation of the property. This role requires strong leadership, good communication skills, operational expertise and a hands on approach.Requirements and Skills
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a General Manager in a large, fast paced restaurant who offer exceptional food / Beverage and excellent service
  • Role may also suit experienced 4/5* Hotel Food and Beverage/ Operations Manager
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and hospitality standards
  • Proven leadership and people-management skills
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem solving skills
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and costs
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure excellent service
  • Maintain consistently high standards of food service and presentation
  • Ensure full compliance with HACCP, health & safety and company policies
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead, motivate and manage all front of house and management staff
  • Recruit, train, schedule and retain a high performing team
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews and ongoing training
  • Foster a positive, respectful and professional working environment
  • Communicate well with you colleagues in our Kitchen
Financial and Business Management
  • Manage budgets, forecasts and profit margins
  • Control labour costs and operational expenses
  • Monitor daily, weekly and monthly financial reports
  • Maximise revenue through effective scheduling, upselling and service standards
Customer Experience & Brand Standards
  • Act as an ambassador for the Restaurant and brand
  • Ensure a warm, welcoming and memorable experience for all guests
  • Maintain the restaurants reputation for quality and service excellence
Education & Qualifications
  • Degree or qualification in Hospitality Management or Business is an advantage
