Package: €NegWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our sea freight operations team. This role involves overseeing end-to-end ocean freight processes, ensuring a seamless experience for both internal teams and external customers.What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage and process ocean freight bookings, ensuring timely and accurate input of shipment data
- Track and monitor shipments from initial customer booking through to final delivery and payment receipt
- Deliver excellent service by maintaining clear and prompt communication with clients and colleagues
- Coordinate with international partners, carriers, and logistics providers to secure optimal rates and performance
- Organise collection and delivery schedules with transport providers
- Handle invoicing processes, resolving discrepancies with sales and purchase invoices efficiently
- Prepare quotations and respond to customer rate inquiries
- Maintain awareness of customs clearance procedures, including documentation and regulatory compliance
- Contribute to the growth and optimisation of sea freight services
- Previous experience in freight forwarding or internal sales within a busy logistics environment
- Provide cover for colleagues during leave periods within the operations team
- Support cross-departmental freight teams with administrative tasks when needed
- Participate in occasional customer site visits to strengthen client relationships
- Contribute to team projects and process improvement initiatives
