Package: €DOEWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Ocean Freight Export Coordinator to join a dynamic logistics team in Cork. This role will focus on managing end-to-end export operations via ocean freight, ensuring timely and compliant movement of goods for international clients.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full cycle of ocean freight export shipments from booking to delivery
- Coordinate with shipping lines, co-loaders, hauliers, and customs brokers
- Prepare and process export documentation including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and customer requirements
- Liaise with clients and overseas agents to provide updates and resolve issues
- Monitor shipments and proactively manage any delays or disruptions
- Maintain accurate records within the freight management system
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the export department
- 2+ years’ experience in ocean freight forwarding, ideally in exports
- Strong understanding of international shipping practices and export documentation
- Knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Proficiency in freight systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
