FRS Recruitment are now inviting applications for the role of Poultry Farm Manager on behalf of our Client who as a leading Irish Agri business, has built and maintained a reputation for quality, innovative processes and the latest nutritional research for over 40 years.Our Client is now seeking a talented and driven Poultry Farm Manager to take a hands-on leadership role in a newly acquired modern egg production operation.
This is a fulltime, permanent role in Westmeath.As Poultry Farm Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

Overseeing daily operations
Ensuring consistent egg quality
Maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and biosecurity
Lead a small team
manage flock health and performance
Ensure all production targets are met efficiently and ethically

As Poultry Farm Manager you will have:

Experience working in a commercial poultry setting (management experience an advantage)
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
A proactive, hands-on approach
Knowledge of poultry welfare, health, and environmental control systems
Basic computer literacy and attention to detail for record-keeping
Accurate record keeping and compliance with Bord Bia and Department of Agriculture standards
Experience with automated layer systems (e.g. feeding, egg collection, ventilation)
