Deli Manager

• Oversee the full daily operation of the deli department, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency
• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team focused on excellent customer service
• Drive sales growth, margins, and departmental profitability while maintaining tight control over waste and shrink
• Ensure best-in-class standards in food preparation, merchandising, hygiene, and presentation
• Maintain full compliance with HACCP and all food safety regulations
• Manage stock ordering, rotation, and production planning in line with trading patterns
• Collaborate with store management to enhance the overall fresh food strategy

• Previous experience as a Deli Manager or Senior Deli Supervisor within supermarket or convenience retail
• Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to achieve KPIs and control costs
• Excellent knowledge of fresh food operations and food safety standards
• A confident leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• A proactive, organised approach and passion for delivering high-quality food
