We are looking for skilled Senior Bridge Engineers to join our growing team in Dublin. This is a permanent position with flexible working options, suitable for engineers with 8+ years of experience in bridge and civil engineering projects.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized technical support on complex bridge and multidisciplinary engineering projects.
  • Work on both existing and new bridge structures, including superstructure, substructure, and articulation.
  • Participate in project initiation, including survey specifications, inspections, and preliminary design planning.
  • Perform detailed design tasks, including modeling, calculations, and drawing oversight.
  • Prepare technical documentation, such as reports, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Conduct technical reviews, including category 3 checks, and represent clients and designers on-site.
  • Engage with clients, including local and national authorities, consultants, and contractors.
  • Mentor junior engineers to support their professional development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer status or close to obtaining it (Engineers Ireland, ICE, or equivalent).
  • 8-15 years of experience in bridge engineering.
  • Proficient in bridge design software and standards (e.g., DMRB, Eurocodes).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and English language skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of additional civil engineering disciplines, such as highways, geotechnics, or rail.
  • Experience in business development activities, including client liaison and bid preparation.
