- Must have demonstrated superior management skills in previous responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience desired.
- Previous experience in a senior chef related position.
- HACCP certification and knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Ability to apply supervisory /management soft skills.
- Previous experience in a similar background and role
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the kitchens
- Assist with planning and executing banquet and wedding functions
- Assist with menu development and execution
- To support effectively and positively any operational changes
- Ensure all HACCP regulations are adhered to
- Assist with training and onboarding of new and junior chefs
- Assist with stock takes as required
- Certification from a recognised body is preferred
- Basic Computers and Fluent English
- Ability to work as a team player
- Flexibility to work with other disciplines within the Kitchen
