- Manage and oversee construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and regulations, while maintaining high-quality standards throughout all phases of the construction process.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and communication.
- Monitor and manage resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize project efficiency and productivity.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise during the construction process, providing innovative solutions to ensure project success.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring all construction activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, and records of project activities, ensuring timely and effective reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest construction methodologies, technologies, and industry trends, and actively contribute to process improvements and innovation within the construction team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (at least 7 years) in construction project management, preferably within the civil, commercial or industrial sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of construction principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate project teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Relevant professional certifications and licenses are desirable.
