The role scope includes Hopper & performance governance for PepsiCo’s Innovation agenda across the newly-created International Beverages organization. This role provides a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to have a significant impact on PepsiCo’s Global Innovation which is a key enabler for delivering PepsiCo’s strategic growth ambition.Reporting: This role reports into Senior Director - Global Commercialization Capability (New York based), with dotted line into the Senior Director – International Beverages Commercialization (Dublin based)
Responsibilities
  • Support Commz International Beverages Senior Director in defining the role of innovation (scale, mix) in a consumer centric growth algorithm across each of the Anchor Markets.
  • Drive Innovation sufficiency by assessing Hopper-Pipeline identifying any sufficiency gaps/course corrects to conclusion across the enterprise
  • Elevate Beverage strategic platform prioritization and identify critical capability unlocks and investments required to deliver against the in-market aspiration.
  • Implement performance-driven KPIs, with specific focus on the ‘Metrics That Matter’ within the Anchor Markets. This includes incremental $NR, VC%, HH penetration etc to drive scale, incremental, profitable, and sustained growth via innovation
  • Lead the analysis on Innovation KPI performance. Conduct diagnostics & provide insights based on internal data sources (PPM, Cockpit / FP&A data etc.) as well as external (IRI Nielsen, Kantar etc.)
  • Embed standardized scorecards with within International Beverages, to ensure transparency and timely course-correct performance to enable strategic planning in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Global / Region PPM Capability Managers to unlock single source of truth on portfolio governance. Provide PPM team with data requirements to support portfolio governance analytics
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in PepsiCo or roles in prior companies
  • Strategy, Finance, Marketing or related background would be especially useful, though not mandatory
  • A highly skilled communicator, with the ability to simplify & elevate complex business issues & opportunities
  • Ability to engage with and effectively influence senior stakeholders with the organization and across multiple functions, including challenging and comfortably managing conflict
  • Strong presentation storytelling with robust problem solving and action-oriented mindset
  • Business acumen, excellent analytical & problem-solving skills. Extremely comfortable driving insight and action from large, complex data sources.
  • Knowledge of Pep’s make/move/sell capabilities & Pep’s innovation strategies and core processes
