
New Product Development Manager

- Take ownership of assigned projects, managing them through each stage of the process: concept, feasibility, pilot trials, factory scale-up, production reviews and final evaluation.
- Actively contribute to idea generation and strategic planning, bringing culinary expertise and technical insights to the table.
- Coordinate and run effective meetings, keep clear records, and engage all key stakeholders throughout each stage.
- Attend customer presentations and visits, lead technical discussions, and provide relevant insights and solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date project pipelines and provide regular updates to the team, flagging any delays and taking action to stay on track.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and technical experts to support innovation and problem-solving.
- Ensure high standards of food safety, product quality and cleanliness in all work areas, from test kitchens to production.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the food industry, ideally in a high-risk food environment
- BSc in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of nutrition, food safety, meat science and culinary techniques
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate others
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Competent in Word, Excel and Outlook (Intermediate level); Navision experience is a plus
- Flexible, organised and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
