Location: Dublin, IRLWe are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Product Engineer to join our Product Lifecycle Engineering team at client, supporting a critical portfolio within our $1 Billion diabetes care business. This is a contingent role with immediate expectations for contribution-you will be stepping into a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where your expertise will be essential from day one. You will be expected to quickly absorb product knowledge, navigate client's change control processes, and lead engineering initiatives with minimal ramp-up time. Your ability to collaborate across global teams-including R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and quality-is critical to maintaining compliance and driving innovation.Key Responsibilities
- Rapidly plan and execute lifecycle engineering activities that affect form/fit/function, cost, and compliance.
- Lead engineering change projects through client's systems with urgency and precision.
- Provide immediate support to manufacturing plants and resolve product issues swiftly.
- Maintain and enhance design history files and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Deliver competitive product analysis and compatibility testing insights.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high-performance team culture.
- 7+ years in medical device R&D or product engineering, with a proven track record of delivering results under pressure.
- Deep knowledge of polymer science, injection molding, high-volume manufacturing, and design verification.
- Strong skills in 3D CAD, GD&T, statistical analysis, and test method validation.
- A mindset geared toward speed, precision, and collaboration.
